A: That is correct, the HUB will display Soundblox Pro and Soundblox 1 models as empty, and only pass through Expression or Hot Hand control signals to them. The HUB will recall presets in the Soundblox Pro models, but only when connected to the MIDI port. Reference the Soundblox Pro manual for what MIDI CC message controls what parameter in the pedal.

2. Is it possible to choose scenes or change presets of the MIDI Hub with your Hub program, sequencer or iPad without using MIDI pedal? Currently I am using Ableton Live and of course planning to use Midi Mouse.

3. If the MIDI out of the MIDI Hub is set as HH&Exp and connected to MIDI IN of a Pro model, is it possible to control MIDI Hub with Hot Hand or Expression Pedal? I've tried and failed, but I want to know if there is any other method that I haven't recognized. In this case, is MIDI out just sending CC number from the program with Hot Hand or Exp Pedal to MIDI out port?
A: A Soundblox Pro pedal is able to be controlled by Hot Hand and Expression, when connected to the MIDI In. Reference the Soundblox Pro manual for what MIDI CC message control what parameters. The outgoing MIDI CC messages for the Hot Hand and Expression Pedal as set in the Hub Manager Software. Don't forget to click the "Set Hardware Options" button in the software to apply the changes if you have been experiencing problems with this.

5. When MIDI Out is set as MIDI thru, what is the source of the signal to be transmitted? 1) MIDI In? 2) Computer of iPad connected by USB? 3) Hot Hand and Exp Pedal connected to the Hub?
A: MIDI In is the only signal going to the MIDI Out as of now, in this mode. An update in the future may change this to add USB information. Hot Hand and Expression information has to be selected in the Hub Manager Software, so you make a choice between HH&Exp. and the MIDI input.

7. It is possible to automate CC control by putting it in the MIDI track at a sequencer (Abletone Live). If USB Hot Hand can be used this way to control CC at a sequencer in real time, isn't it possible to control more than two Blox2 models simultaneously because USB Hot Hand can send 3 CC values? For instance, it maybe possible to send resonance, speed, and frequency to Manta Filter with USB Hot Hand.
A: Yes, the pedals will respond to automated CC messages from Ableton, and can control multiple pedals. Reference the Hub User Guide for a list of the Soundblox 2 MIDI messaging template for the specific CC#'s for parameters. Also, Ableton can be configured to take incoming MIDI information from Hot Hand USB, and output it to the Hub, therefore you can control 3 different parameters by all 3 axis' in the Hot Hand USB ring. By using the Hot Hand USB Editor, you can assign each axis' MIDI CC#, and Ableton will pass that information to all pedals.

A: This is correct, the way the Hub processes calibration information, and the way the pedal does, is slightly different. This has been noted, and is not really an issue, unless switching back and forth between using the Hub and not using the Hub.
Hub에서 calibration 정보를 처리하는 방식과 페달에서 처리하는 방식이 살짝 다른 것이 사실이다. 이미 알려진 사실이고, Hub를 쓰다 안쓰다 반복할 게 아니면 크게 문제되지는 않는다.
